A Taste of Magic by tracy Madison is a quirky new story of magic and love.Lizzie Stephens birthday does not pass by with a whimper, but with a bang. On that day she had been divorced for a year, was baking her ex-husbands wedding cake to the woman he left her for and her grandmother gifts her with Magic. Gypsy magic that is. Now everything Lizzie wishes for when she bakes comes true. Some with disastrous results, some with the exact right reaction. However, when Lizzie decides to take hold of her life and her new power she’ll have to make the ultimate decision. Is she ready to open her heart to the hunky policeman next door, or will she forever be the timid mouse she believes she is haunted by past insecurities?
The characters family is hilarious and her friends are supportive, a true blend of great characters and a good story. There was a set up for a future story featuring Lizzie’s sister during the book and I can’t wait to read more of this quirky, fun family!

Wow! I am so excited to read your glowing words about A Taste of Magic. I had such a blast writing the book, and the follow up (A Stroke of Magic – July, 2009), and I’m thrilled you enjoyed it. Thanks for the shout out!
And to answer Dru’s question: Yes, A Taste of Magic is a light paranormal romance.

Dru, As the author assures below, it is a paranormal, but it’s quite light.
